HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE THE MEMORIAL IS IN PLACE? Once the final design is agreed upon by the family, there are still more factors. If your granite is from the local territory, it might take 8-12 weeks. If your granite choice is from Africa or India and not a stock piece, it could take about 20 weeks. We also factor in the weather (see the next question).
CAN MEMORIALS BE SET ANY TIME OF THE YEAR? Each cemetery has specific times of the year that they allow memorials to be set. Memorials typically are set when the ground is thawed and is solid enough for the truck. Typically, we place memorials between April and October, depending on the weather.

The cost varies widely based on the type of memorial, size, granite choice and the other options you choose: granite choice, type of memorial (upright, bevel, slant, flat, etc.), edge designs (polished, sawed, rough), additional lettering and etchings, solar lights, and so forth. DO YOU SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS? While walk-ins are welcomed, you are welcome to schedule an appointment. If evenings and weekends work best for you, we can make those arrangements.
CAN WE MEET SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN IN PIERRE? We can meet at a location of your choosing, with proper advanced scheduling. For those who live farther away, I will work with your by phone, electronically, or through the mail, from estimate to design and all the way to installation and completion.
